RRD Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Check out the SUP section on the official RRD website

Although all RRD standup boards are no-compromise paddle boards, they can all be used with a windsurf rig, making them even more versatile.

The Diamond line
While RRD designed these boards with wave riding in mind, they still provide excellent glide thanks to a flatter mid section and generous width in the front. Efficient paddling in flat water or when speeding up to catch a wave, but step back and the thin, narrow tail provide very impressive wave riding characteristics.

The Cruiser 12
With a long waterline, generous volume, minimal rocker, a unique displacement nose that transitions into a pronounced double concave/ V bottom, be prepared for a very smooth and efficient ride. Almost all of the performance you'll find in a full displacement race board, but with every-day usability end sufficient width to allow even first timers to feel comfortable on this board. With the available center fin it's the ultimate light-wind lake or bay cruiser.

The WASSUP line
These are designed first an foremost as stable and versatile paddle boards, but windsurfers are just as impressed with these boards as paddlers are. Two sizes are available with footstraps for great flat-water fun or real light wind wave sailing action and each size is available with a center fin, making them great choices for light wind windsurfing and even beginners.
Rave reviews at flat water and wave windsurf demos and wave paddle demos prove that RRD is on to something here.

OK. So the footage below is obviously not of standup paddling but the boards being used by the windsurfers are two of the RRD SUPs though so you can see some of what these boards are capable of. All standup boards are no-compromise paddle boards but as you can see, they work quite well for sailing. The Yellow board is a Diamond 9'6" Classic and the white board is a WASSUP 8'5".
